Kimono / light cotton robe

We moved house recently, and it’s so well insulated that my previous ultra cosy dressing gown makes me feel like I’m having a hot flush! Coupled with the fact that sometimes I AM having one, I’m in the market for some kind of long loose thin robe. Aside from cyberjammies, do you have recommendations? Ideally up to size 18 please. Thanks for your help!

I’m currently waiting around in various different One Hundred Stars kimonos, though the might be a little too lightweight as an actual robe (I’m wearing them over a tshirt with jeans). My other favourite for robes is Toast, current Bird Print one is lovely.

H&M linen robes

No advice about shops, but Nolly in episode 3 is wearing a nice one on stage.

Also got mine on Etsy, it's really well made and washes nicely without changing shape.

One Hundred Stars do beautiful robes - not cotton unfortunately, but still light and floaty. Quite pricey though.

Depends on your style and taste but it’s worth having a look at men’s robes. I hate big fluffy dressing gowns but found loads of thinner cotton robes for men. I got a lovely M&S one. Makes me feel like I’m in the 1920s lounging in my smoking jacket!
