Primark Jeans Sizing Question

I want another pair of straight leg jeans and took a 8 in and a 10 in case the 8 didn’t fit. I am not very good at looking at clothes and thinking that they will fit just looking at the hanger. In any case the 10 looked more like a 14 or 16 and when I tried the 8 on it gaped at the back so I have gotten a 6 in the hope that they will fit.

What’s everyone’s experiences with Primark jeans in the way of sizing?

If they don't fit, flip another coin - heads, they're too big, tails, they're too small, drop the coin, they're simultaneously too big and too small.

Much like the rest of the High Street, really.

I saw a pair of cords in there which were a size 8 apparently!

Stretchy ones I got a 14 I'm normally a 12 in somewhere like next m&s etc. Think primarni come up small I

Roll the dice, if the dots add up to 11 and its Tuesday and the moon is in Jupiter the trousers will be size you'd expect going by the label. Otherwise it's anyone's guess! Super fun!

There's a trick for checking if jeans will fit on the waist without trying them on, something about putting the waistline of the jeans around your neck.

In seriousness though maybe I've been lucky but once I worked out that a 12 was for me in Primark I've found them pretty consistent in that I can pick up 12s without trying them on and they've always been ok. I think Primark jeans are great for the money.

They fit! There is still a little gap at the back and they look like they are slightly bigger in the waist John Lewis Anyday straight jeans in an 8 . Wish I had just got another pair of the JL jeans!

I find they're a size smaller than you think, however they don't gape in the back
