Knee high boots

Saw some boots very like these (brand new) in a charity shop today.

I haven't worn knee high boots for ages as I felt they were considered dated but I've also just bought a lovelyWhistles jumper dress and wondered if they would go together.

I didn't buy them but am wondering if I should go back. What are your thoughts on knee high boots

Oh I've just favourited a pair of black suede ones with a slight heel on vinted. They are this years (as I have seen them new). Like a pp I am short so a midi length dress or skirt looks too stumpy with a short boot and a long bout elongates. Plus I can wear leggings rather than tights and no one will know!
