Work clothes - ideas while loosing weight?

Hello,

I need to go back to the office full time

and am struggling with clothes! I haven't many pre lockdown items and am on a healthkick to loose weigh - have lost nearly a stone since Christmas! Hence need to buy some new things but not sure what.

I'm currently a solid 16 with a significant bust but am only 5'2 ish. Office is smart casual so usually dress & boots/trousers & blouse type options - I'm pretty senior so need to look put together . Any ideas of styles/shops I could look at?! Used to like hobbs/jigsaw but nothing is grabbing me as nice enough or likely to withstand weight loss....

thank you!!!

I’m a different size and shape to you (5’7, no boobs to speak of!) but I found dresses easier to wear when I came back from mat leave having gained some weight, and now that I’ve lost it they still look good, just a bit looser!

I’m still a big fan of jigsaw but I got most of my work dresses from COS. The shapes aren’t for everyone (and I suspect are easier to wear if taller) but they do a lot of A line shapes/lots of material that was quite forgiving.

Try Vinted? I’ve returned from maternity not quite at pre baby weight (plus having wfh for most of Covid) & have bought a few things (dresses) second hand to see me through the rest of winter.

Also senior. Most bits are from Baukjen and Hush & will re-sell once I’ve lost the weight.
