Could any of you lovelies tell me where to order the Crest whitening strips? Are they the best, I've used the polar nite ones from the dentist but would like a top up...TIA

Ditto, and I get them from here too. I get 10 pairs of strips for £30ish and do that twice a year.

Alstoybarn · 18/02/2023 14:29

Do these actually work well? My teeth are kinda yellow and nothing seems to help

Yep! I had yellow teeth all through teen and 20s, they're white now from the strips.

Amazon.com and import them into the uk

eczemamummy · 18/02/2023 23:44

@QueefQueen80s do you use the ten sets of strips on ten consecutive days as part of one course of treatment? How long does it usually take to see results? X

QueefQueen80s · 19/02/2023 02:04

Yes I do 10 days in a row, twice a year. See results instantly after the 10 days. You can see the peroxide bubbling as soon as you put the strip on!

drinkingcream · 19/02/2023 02:11

Wow I want to try these! Nothing has ever worked with my teeth.

QueefQueen80s · 19/02/2023 13:48

My before and after, no filters used! I used to have to whiten them on photo apps but not anymore 😊

Hi - did you order the strips?

LittlePinkPill · 03/03/2023 19:37

I also tried these strips for the first time last year and ordered them from the place linked above. I did actually find there are a couple of sellers on Etsy selling them slightly cheaper and you can just order a couple of sachets of strips on there if you want to try them out first.
They make your teeth super sensitive and hurt like hell. I can only put them on every other day or every couple of days when I’m doing the real days of treatment.
I drink a lot of coffee so my teeth stained again really quickly and now I have to do a top up day or two of strips every month. I do wonder if I’ve damaged my teeth in some way by whitening them. Too late now!

BeeBB · 03/03/2023 19:49

Thanks @LittlePinkPill I was seriously thinking of trying these until I read your comment. My teeth seem quite sensitive as it is so probably far too risky for me to try these.

davegrohll · 03/03/2023 20:26

Oh god do they really hurt ? I really wanted to try these but have super sensitive teeth !

LittlePinkPill · 03/03/2023 21:22

Yes, if you already have sensitive teeth avoid them!
I did already have slightly sensitive teeth, so I assume that’s why mine are now super sensitive, but a work friend said they have made hers sensitive when she had never suffered before.

QueefQueen80s · 04/03/2023 00:38

I've never felt any pain with them but not sure I have sensitive teeth, I can bite ice lollies etc

SiobhanSharpe · 04/03/2023 00:57

I have been using the 'pap strips' and brush on gel from HiSmile.
They don't cause any pain or lead to sensitivity and they are reasonably effective, perhaps not quite as effective as the bleach. I think you have to persevere with them longer than just for a few days.
But they are easy to use, and, like I say, pain free.

SiobhanSharpe · 04/03/2023 00:58

uk.hismileteeth.com

Tangledmother · 05/03/2023 20:32

Thanks everyone, I haven't ordered any yet and a few Irish friends have recommended spotlight care which was created by dentists, they've a full range I think but I think i will order the Crest ones, I remember using pola night gel from the dentist with the trays years ago and my teeth were super sensitive after, I took nuerofen to deal with the pain but they worked so I think I'll give the Crest ones a go.

SwankyPants · 06/03/2023 11:35

Please post what you think of them, I want something but I'm nervous about the sensitivity

eczemamummy · 18/03/2023 19:37

@QueefQueen80s thanks for your help with this! Just ordered some! Is it advised that you don't drink tea or coffee etc during treatment? X

WalterWitty · 18/03/2023 20:28

I’ve used these and they are good - reading this has made me realise I should buy more!

Top Tip: switch to sensodine toothpaste while your using them, if you have any sensitive spots you can also rub a little of the toothpaste on and it will help. I didn’t notice any lasting damage from my time using them.

Aw good luck! I didn't drink any just to give them the best chance.
I hope they help your confidence like they did mine ☺️

LittlePinkPill · 07/06/2023 09:40

The U.K. teeth whitening company linked above that I got my strips from is no longer trading. I ordered a few from Etsy and I’m pretty sure these one are fake, does anyone else know a company where I can get the genuine crest strips please?
