I bought these new trainers and scarf - do you think it is a good combination or to obvious?

Thinking about wearing it with grey wooly coat, black trousers but not sure about the top - suggestions welcome.

My style is simple, relaxed and casual (but with some thought put into it)

I think they are fine. nice neutral colours. would look great with something red.

Also, want to make it look slightely more feminine, I have short hair at the moment, will make sure nails are nicely done.

I like the shape on the left and the colour on the right. my nails are short atm and I will get it done over the weekend, I won't be able to get the shape on the left without using extensions;(
