Wide leg jeans

Fashionable or frumpy?

I haven't worn a pair since I was a teenager! But bought a high wasted black pair on a whim yesterday, as I feel I'm too reliant on leggings and skinny jeans, and losing my style a bit since becoming a mum.

Now doubting myself that I'm embracing the mum frump!

@Kate8990 oh excellent!!

Do you always wear with a fitted top? Or is loose jumper / knits ok?

I seem to have forgotten how to style anything other than leggings and an oversize jumper!

I wear both, loose knits or fitted tops depending if I'm having a "fat day" or not, usually loosely tucked in if it's a bit longer.
Just wear whatever you're comfortable in 😊

I like them, but think they need to fit well at the top to be flattering ( on me anyway)

I generally tuck a shirt into mine, layer a jumper over the top if it's cold or choose lighter knitwear (jumpers/cardigan) rather than anything too bulky.

I wore some today with a sweatshirt and trainers with a trench and a cross body bag and quite liked it.

I have worn them with a baggy jumper but do think they look good with a slimmer top half. I am very much into the seventies look so team them with a pussy bow blouse with a thermal top underneath. I wear Converse type shoes on my feet and coat that is more fitted at the waist to give some definition.
