Just wondering if anyone’s had it? I’m considering it…

Meant to add - what did it do and were you happy with the results?

OK so I have had it a few days ago. I’m 43, in lateral cheeks and jaw (I think tucked behind my jaw bone in front my ear as opposed to along the outside edge). I haven’t had any filler type products in my face before. I think I might still be a little swollen (prob not noticeable to anyone but me!) and one small bruise on the side of my face. Still v early days to tell you what I really think! Apparently takes a few months to see effects of the collagen building component.

Thank you for replying. I hope once everything settles that you’ll be happy with the results. x

Has been about 10 days and have just been for my review. Swelling (although minimal but noticeable to me) settled and looks subtle- like little lift in face, not hamster cheeks at all! I think the idea is that it will improve the skin quality over the next 24 months (top up at 12 months) with a view to improve lines around the lower half of the face. I like my face and want to look as healthy as I can rather than expecting to take 10 years off. Would love to hear from anyone who’s had it for a while to see if the longer and whether they noticed these improvements.

Following with interest. My aesthetician has recommended this to me …. But then she also recommended Profhilo which was an expensive waste of time

FrontierLady · 28/03/2023 15:34

OP have you had any tweakments before and if so which ones did you feel made a positive difference?

FrontierLady · 28/03/2023 15:42

Urgh! Profilo was a complete waste of time and money for me too. Funnily enough though my sister (who has dry skin) loves it and she feels it really improves her skin quality for applying make up etc. I recon it’s really variable as to whether it makes a difference or not (like 50:50 whether people like it or who don’t notice a difference).

Thanks for the replies so far. I’ve had Botox and a few profhilo treatments. Profhilo is great for about a month and then my face looks deflated again! Have since spoken to the aesthetics clinic I go to and the Dr there has said I’m not going to see much change with HArmonyCa either. He’s advised going for traditional fillers if I want to see improvement in the lift and structure of my face. So currently considering that.

I know it sounds silly but might be worth trying some retinol type skin products (companies like skin and me can prescribe online and quite reasonable) to try. It might be that when you are happier with your skin quality you don’t feel the need for filler. The more I think about it the more I don’t want to commit to years of having more products put into my face.
