What can I do with my eyelashes

I've always hated them. They grow downwards and have no curl at all. They are also really pale as I'm naturally blonde, so I look like I don't have any at all. I have had lash lifts in the past which look amazing for a week or two and the new ones start growing in and it's obvious that they're pointing in different directions. I've currently got lash extensions on and have done for the past few months, but I'm bored of the faff and hassle of them and I don't think I want to carry on having them done indefinitely

Is there anything I can do to make a lash lift last longer? I've tried using lash curlers in the morning too but I'm not very good at it. Will using a good serum help them to grow and get a bit of a curl or will they just be this way forever?

Watching with interest for any suggestions. I feel your pain, OP.

In my next life, I'm coming back blessed with Freida Pinto's naturally luscious and sweeping eyelashes.
<sigh>

my eyelashes are a bit straight, but I get a good curl with eyelash curlers, I heat mine first.

What about trying benefit lash roller mascara after you've curled them? You can buy it in a travel size to try first

@Polly291869 the worst thing is that DH has the nicest eyelashes I've ever seen. They are so long and thick and they curl at just the right place. Wish I could have his!

Does the type of eyelash curler make a difference? I've only got a cheap one, never wanted to buy an expensive one as it doesn't seem to work very well anyway

Benefit’s Rollerlash mascara is really excellent for giving a curl. With any mascara, when you’re done with each eye, press and hold the mascara wand against the ends of your lashes and the product will set your lashes into an upwards curl.

My eyelashes are my best feature, which is quite sad, thinking about it, but I tried Revitalash on them anyway, and within a few weeks I had complete strangers complimenting my lovely long lashes, honestly, it was amazing, they even got knocked by my reading glasses. I have just this minute read here on MN that Revitalash can cause dry eyes and dark circles but that didn’t happen to me. It’s very expensive though, and there are now (slightly) cheaper brands like UK Lash, although I haven’t tried it myself.

I get LVL done at a GOOD salon. Mine last nearly 4 to 5 months. No mascara needed. Mine without are normally grey and straight.
