Socks

Sister in law buys me normally socks for Xmas or bday but they tend to be low quality (think 5 for £3 or so). The problem is that worn few times and they start falling off whilst wearing them with my Uggs to the point I’d rather go sockless than with socks.

can you recommend good brands of socks?

Sock shop bamboo socks are incredibly comfy and seam free (DD has some sensory issues so we buy these), they are warm but not thick socks.

my other completely favourite socks were bought in mountain warehouse and are boys hiking socks. So toasty!

Best socks I have are from BAM and they send me a free pair roughly every 3 months, no idea why! Great quality though, I would definitely buy them if they stopped sending me free pairs.

+3 for BAM. I get quite irritable with socks (hate feeling the seam pressing on my toes) - BAM socks are lovely and it seems like a nice company.

Bamboo socks. You can normally pick them up in tk max fairly cheap. They wash really well. I tend to buy green treat.

I have quite a few pairs of Bam socks that were freebies too and I wear them with my Uggs as I don't want thick socks with them and they don't fall down. But my favourite socks overall are Smartwool hike light ankle socks, so warm and comfy and last for years, I wear them with trainers, boots, lace up shoes etc all year round.

I loved some basic seasalt ones I saw today before asking but the bam ones also look good

husvamd god me some Nordic ones for Xmas but soon they’re going to be too think and I need something thinner but that I can wear without worrying they’re going to keep falling down

I agree! BAM socks are the most comfortable socks I have ever owned.

I got 2 pairs of chunky Falke socks for Christmas. I love them. When I'm rich I will only ever buy Falke socks.

So I got bam and Cornwall one that were recommended here

tjeyre lush both so soft but … they slide down like my cheap primark ones. I do believe it’s related with my Uggs that they’re quite old and has got space for the socks to move and that’s why they all fall down :( i was thinking about getting new ones for this winter. I guess I’ll search new ones for 23winter
