He did indeed call for it. And some businesses, organisations, committees absolutely fall over themselves to be inclusive for fear of being called out for not listening. They fail to realise that their actions actually exclude rather than include.

Sometimes when wheels move it is hard to get them to stop.

More so when it isn’t given full and proper consideration before the wheels are set in motion.

Technically this isn’t SS’s fault.

But he is not blameless with regards to the outcome.

We all knew what was going to happen. As usual if a privileged man bothered to listen to women, he'd have known too.

But he was too busy complaining that he doesn't get all the cookies, he missed that he was taking them away from others. Fortunately women don't matter so he's allowed to ignore the fallout from his stupidity.

He's not blameless though.
