I liked Alex Scott’s jumpsuit (and she did look very happy to be there), Georgia May Jagger’s LBD, Amelia Dimoldenberg in Vivienne Westwood and Adwoa Aboah‘s suit.

Bonus points to Lewis Capaldi for not taking it at all seriously.

Twenty years ago celebrities would seek out flattering clothes, even if that might not have been what they would have chosen. This is where Rachel Stevens still is, stylistically. But newer stars choose clothes they either want to wear or ones they think will have dramatic impact. To my eyes, they all look dreadful but I quite like the way people seem to wear whatever they want these days. They don’t care if their saggy breasts are falling out and if their body proportions are not being flattered. You see it out and about too.

To me, it just shows that standards are dropping.

Exactly this. It’s a cultural shift from trying to look ‘nice’ and fit into societally approved boxes of aesthetics to self expression, fun and a lot of silliness. And, yes, lots of them look insane, but I much prefer it to the evening gown and tuxedo uniforms of yesteryear. I like that we live in a time when people aren’t fussed about looking a bit nuts.

There’s also so much more diversity of every kind. Love it.

I reckon all their stylists got together and decided to have a competition to see who could rock the most ridiculous outfit. Sam Smith's stylist must be pretty pleased although there are a lot of ties for second place.😁

I think Salma Hayek looks fantastic. Edgy, without being ridiculous.

Daisy May Cooper taking a similar tack, and I think she looks fab too.

I expect they'd be rather upset if "boring" people paid them no attention.

And dressing like that does not by any means precule the possibility of the wearers being boring.
