Help with some new outfits for a long weekend in London/Brighton (hand luggage only!)

I used to dress nicely but for the past few years all I’ve worn in leggings and a fleece or boring jeans and a jumper. I don’t really socialise often and actually thinking about it, I haven’t been in a restaurant since last JUNE!! I have decided I need a wardrobe overhaul in general and I’m going to London for a long weekend soon (early March) so would like some new outfits but need some help please! Anything will be appreciated, links or inspo pics.

Not really any plans in particular yet, so just some nice but casual outfits for brunches/mooching. We do plan to go to Ivy Asia in Brighton for dinner/drinks either on Friday or Saturday. But I’ll only have hand luggage so can’t take too much with me 😅

I’m 30, 5ft8 and size 8 (pear shape).

Boots and dresses, a nice coat to throw over the top, maybe a pair of smart trousers/smarter jeans to be paired with a smart blouse and court shoes for dinner out or put with a nicer dress for evening out! Take a handbag that is plain but classy, but goes with everything or one that can turn from comfy strap to clutch or thick straps to chain strap to feel more dressy! What sort of things do you like? Colours/ prints?
I always find a little bit of leopard print goes along way as its neutral yet dressy when it needs to be!
