Sezane

I have recently lost quite a bit of weight so updated my wardrobe. I would love to buy this jacket.

I am currently a size 10-12 but still losing weight. If you have bought from Sezane, do they run small? I am 5’7” and small bottom half but broader shoulders.

Also, would it be cheaper to buy in France or here? I’ll be in France in a few weeks. I ask that because it is usually cheaper to buy Spanish brand clothes over there and wondered if it’s the same for French brands.

I think like all French brands they are not generous .

Sézane is pretty generous by French standards but are somewhat narrow on the shoulders like most French brands.

Definitely cheaper in France but no guarantee that they'll have the thing you're looking for in store but you can have it delivered to their store.

I have bought a fair bit from them. I find that their tops run large and the one jacket I bought ran very large. Trousers seem true to size, possibly towards the smaller end.

I would never buy a 6 as a size 8 let alone a 10-12. I've never yet met a 6 I fit into because when you get down to that small, your main variable is height/bone size IME. But if their resale value is good you could always give it a go and sell it on?

They do free returns, so no need to sell on if it doesn't fit.

I but loads from Sezane and I think most of the clothes are on the large size. Each piece has fitting advice and from the website this jacket says to size down if you are in between sizes. I am usually a size 8 on top but I buy size 6 in Sezane. If you have a credit card I would buy two sizes then return the one you don't want.
