Where can I buy good gloves

A few weeks ago I lost a much loved pair of soft leather gloves 😥
So I need a new pair , I have poor circulation so I wear gloves most days , at the moment I have a pair of ski type which are far to bulky and don't fit very well.
I have small hands and thin wrist ( the only bit of me that is thin ! ) so I want to try on a few pairs rather than buy on line .

So where can I get some before my hands go bluer than a smufs?

TK Maxx might be worth a shot and the same for M and S as well as John Lewis

I got these a couple of years ago in the sale. They're lovely and really soft leather.

I now feel incredibly lucky because I paid £10 and now they're £28 Shock

@Niftythrifter I had a look in tk max but they didn't have any but you right I will keep my eye on there. I never thought of m&s , JL is a good shout too thank you.

M&S do merino wool lined soft leather gloves. I prefer giant sheep skin ones for max warmth though

SantaBakula · 10/02/2023 08:11

@BarbaraofSeville they look good , is the fleece thick ? I would rather have a pair that I can curl my fingers up in ( when hands are in pockets )

John Lewis with the cashmere lining is the only kind that works for me - unfortunately quite expensive but usually half price in the sale

faustina · 10/02/2023 16:14

forgot to add - leather ones with cashmere lining, and I just checked and they've sold out - sorry! Maybe they might have some in store?

faustina · 10/02/2023 16:16

These might be good though? And they're in the sale at Land's End

Uniqlo, specifically these ones:

About as warm as you can get without resorting to ski gloves. You don’t get wet hands in the rain/snow. They were my go-to when I lived in Chicago. I have small hands/wrists too and find the medium is snug but they also come in kids sizes if you need smaller.

FlounderingFruitcake · 10/02/2023 16:18

And I know you’ve said leather but they’re so good my leather ones never get a look in now!

@faustina & @FlounderingFruitcake thank you both for the suggestions they look good.
I can feel a shopping trip coming on . . . . . .
