Help! Botox issues...

So I decided as a birthday treat to myself to try Botox (mid forties and very wrinkled!) I went to a doctor locally who is highly recommended, a bit more money but all good I thought.

About four days after I noticed my eyebrow was dropping and closing my eye a little which has continued. I went back two days ago for review and obviously mentioned as it looks really odd, I just look angry. She injected a couple of times above the brow to lift it, it's the inside of the brow that's dropped the worst. But I think it's actually getting worse! I know I need to wait two weeks but I am really stressed about looking like this for months. I've been reading about eye drops that can help open the eye, has anyone used anything like this and if so where from as can't find any with the correct active ingredients to buy 🙄

Don't mess with your face folks 😂😂

I know it’s not much of a consolation- but it is a risk, and it does happen.

of course there will be an influx soon of people who say “my practitioner has never…”

but… google until your heart’s content for celebrities who e suffered this who’ve dropped plenty £££ on treatments. Eg photos of kardashians with suspicious eye-covering hair-dos, Simon cowell. Honestly, when I see a celebrity attempting to cover half their face now I immediately assume they’ve “dropped”.

I gather the droop does wear off before the entire treatment does.

Maybe check gm_aesthetics on tik tok. She deals with botox/filler concerns.

Ugh it happened to me! I just had to wait for it to wear off, I felt like a caveman. I did a lot of moving my eyebrows and facial massage to try to move it along quicker 🤣

Thanks, I've just deleted my tik tok app but I'll have a look at that! Doctor did say it should improve after a few weeks but really it looks so weird. Teach me to try to do something nice for myself I suppose, it always seems to go wrong on me whatever I do 😀

I feel for you but it's prob only noticeable to you and it may well settle down

Def worth going to someone good that you trust and can achieve a natural look

Not had Botox but I reckon a nice pair of glasses frames might disguise your droopy brow. Plenty of very affordable ones online.

Plus you could have a bit of a long fringe cut into your hair if it's not like that already. And it's still cold enough to wear hats...
