I have a few events coming up that I need a new outfit for - races, wedding, 40th birthday, all with different groups so I am planning on one outfit for all

I have fallen in love with this dress

But I cannot afford it! And even if I could, I wouldn't spend that money on a polyester dress!

There are a few similar dresses on Vinted, but obviously I wouldn't be able to try on or return them.

Does anyone have any experience of sizing/quality for RR?
I am mid 40s, 5 8 and slim build, 10 on bottom but 8 on top due to small chest.

I'm about to buy this dress for my Sister's wedding! The polyester thing put me off but at least it shouldn't crease... and the big thigth slit should keep me cooler in June. I've been torn between a few styles but this is the one I keep coming back to!

@Hiddenmyname Ah, if it was my sisters wedding I'd DEFINITELY splash out on it! Sadly mine is just a colleague's wedding so I can't justify it so I haven't bought it, and I went for a Silk Fred dress at 20% of the RR price instead

I can't decide between The Hummingbird and Zebra/blue... I think my gut says the blue one but I think it's a bit attention grabbing for a wedding, and very "look at me".
