Do lipsticks have a use by date?

Just found an old make up bag which has several lipsticks which I had forgotten about. Would you keep them? Am loathe to throw them out!

Don’t know if they have a use by date but some brands seem to go rancid if you smell or taste them while others seem to last forever. I just smell them, chuck the rancid ones & keep the rest. Had some Revlon & Max Factor ones for years where Clinique ones soon smelt bad.
