Does such a service exist....

So I WFH every day so these days don't tend to wear make up daily.... feel it's a waste to wear it just for the school run.
But when I do wear it I feel like I have lost my way with it....
I struggle to find a foundation I like that doesn't make me look orange or that gives me coverage.... I'm 38 now so I no longer have youth on my side!

I have never been able to do anything decent with eye make up... I just wear mascara.
My "day time" make up would be the same as my "night out" make up.

Is there anywhere I can go that will actually help me find makeup and a make up style that suits me?

I know I can go to make up counters but they are there purely to sell certain products. I don't want to be pinned to one make up brand.... I'm happy to pay the person directly to help me find what actually suits me rather then what they get commission on.... if that make sense.

Does this exist anywhere??

Can you try and find a local make up artist who's style you like? I had a lesson with one and it was great, she did half my face, I did the other then she sent me a list of the make up and shades we'd used. MUA encouraged me to bring a notebook, write notes as I needed to etc. It was really helpful, she also worked with some products I already had but maybe wasn't using as often.

I did think of MUA but won't they just work with what make up I have.... I want someone to tell me what to buy!

MUA should work with what you have and what she has. Plus be able to give you recommendations of similar products.

I follow this beauty editor on Instagram and she offers various options for consultations, including for overhauling your make-up. I’ve often considered booking a session myself!
