Where's a good place for first bras? Is M&S still the go-to?

DD as ASD and can't manage shops, so I've measured her. 31 around her chest and 31.5 around fullest part - what size should I be looking at? 32AA?

Or any ideas whether I should size up or down on the band?!

M&S is definitely not the go to as their sizing ideas are weird.

At that size would your DD be happiest trying bralettes at home?

Poppymil · 07/02/2023 17:09

Not sure if it's in all but the new look new me now does sizing, I agree with PP that M&S are way out! How old, are you looking are proper bras or just the bralets?

Mumof1andacat · 07/02/2023 17:11

Use the boob n bust method to measure and then order online

Mumof1andacat · 07/02/2023 17:12

Sorry boob or Bust method. They have a calculator on their website

Itisbetter · 07/02/2023 17:13

Does she even need a bra at that size? I’d stick with crop tops if she’s keen on something

Choconut · 07/02/2023 17:15

Why would she wear a bra at that size? If she wants something then get some bralettes from Primark, I would never go back to proper bras now.

RampantIvy · 07/02/2023 17:16

I thought it was the M and S measuring not their sizing that was out. DD wore M and S Angel bras and they were absolutely fine.

LondonPsych · 07/02/2023 18:16

Sorry! I meant I have measured her - I'll deffo be ordering online!

I would look at the M&S teen range - angel, and make sure it's not under wired. She may prefer cropped tops or bralettes though

Snoopystick · 07/02/2023 19:54

Have the M&S first bras and they are fine, measured her at home and fitted fine according to their size chart

WhereAreWeNow · 07/02/2023 21:04

M&S Angel are good but at that size does she really need/want one? A soft, stretchy bralette/crop top would be much comfier.
