Make up and skincare you don't like but is a waste to chuck

Is there a swish type thing for make up and skin care? With my skin being such a state Ive bought loads of things to try which don't suit me but are a waste to throw away, any ideas for getting rid (or can we offer them on here?)

I've got LRP SPF50 anti age
Chanel Les beiges foundation (25)
Chanel vitslumiere aqua foundation 20
Mac face and body Foundation c3

Sure there's plenty of others (perfumes and Liberty samples)

Superdrug Vitamin E range.

I bought a gift set and it makes my skin dry day cream, night cream, face scrub, hot cloth cleanser, eye make-up remover, toner. The lot!

I was expecting better.

I managed to find a home for a lot of mine with a lady who was leaving a refuge. She posted on FB and I took pics of everything then she said what she wanted. Random but maybe have a look on selling / wanted sites on FB?

I also sent some SPF to a fellow mumsnetter so if you don't mind doing that you could start a thread with the product in the title??

I've seen make up for sale on Vinted

cunderthunt1 · 04/02/2023 08:22

I'm sure you can offer it on here. I've given bundles of stuff away on Olio. You could also try vinted Smile

Maybe not relevant for cosmetics but I use face skincare I don't like on my body. My décolleté, hands, everywhere really.

I'd be wary of buying make up and skincare on Vinted. I bought a " brand new unopened" Tarte eyeshadow palette. Yes it was brand new... 10 years ago. Not unopened though and very moldy.

Does eyeshadow go mouldy? 😳

I've got powder eyeshadow from more than 10 years ago which is fine. But I guess if stored in damp conditions most things can go mouldy.

I have sold a couple of makeup items on eBay.
With the description noting they have been used/tried a couple of times. The last item was a powder hourglass blush that was the incorrect shade for me. I had tried it twice and you couldn't see any use.
I always take lots of good photos so the condition is shown.
