Can't decide if I like this jacket or if it is truly awful.

Help! I've ordered this jacket from Boden. I think I like it but part of me thinks it's hideous. Gah! I just can't decide and would love someone else's opinion. That should be the deal breaker OP.. the arms have to be long enough especially if you wear a jumper underneath. Can't stand short arms on coats/jackets.. they make me feel horrible.. the gap between the arms and your gloves.. if there is skin showing it is very uncomfortable for me and a big 'No'

@SarahAndQuack I've got it and tried it on multiple times but I'm still unsure. It is a bit shiny and the arms are just long enough even although I've got long arms. I can't add photos as I use the app.
I think this thread has made me agree that it looks like a reject from a beginners sewing class.

Sorry! But I think your life will be better without it.

I quite like it. I wouldn’t pay £130 for it but if everyone hates it I will wait until it’s less than half price in the sale.

It would look better worn with something plain or block-coloured, not the striped Breton in the photo — looks too busy? Dunno, think I’d have to see it on in RL.

I had to go and look again, i thought the stripes were part of the jacket 😂

Hadn’t noticed it came in two colours. The green is better. The colours seem to coordinate better.

Blue and Green should never be seen…

These, and the longer version, are all the rage where I live. You have to be SUPER skinny and tall to pull them off, or you just end up looking like the crazy crafting lady in the antique shop shuffling about in her dead husband's bathrobe.
