Can't decide if I like this jacket or if it is truly awful.

Help! I've ordered this jacket from Boden. I think I like it but part of me thinks it's hideous. Gah! I just can't decide and would love someone else's opinion. I think it is one of those things that you have to make a decision about when you try it on yourself, it is hard to judge what it will look like on you from those terrible pictures.

It's reminiscent of a Textiles group project my DD did in Year 9. A clothing item designed by a committee basically. It wasn't a pleasant outcome.

Ha ha ha! Thanks for all the replies. I'm got 20% off so wasn't £130 in total. I want both a Borg/fleecy jacket and a quilted jacket (maybe a khaki one) so I think I subconsciously thought this jacket would fit both 😂
Anyway my 12 year old DS tells me the bottoms on the front are awful so I guess it's getting returned.

Horrible. It looks like the alteration challenge on Sewing Bee, if they'd had to make a jacket out of leftover sleeping bags.

@SarahAndQuack I've got it and tried it on multiple times but I'm still unsure. It is a bit shiny and the arms are just long enough even although I've got long arms. I can't add photos as I use the app.
I think this thread has made me agree that it looks like a reject from a beginners sewing class.

My rule is that if I'm unsure, I don't buy it. I haven't always done this and built up a wardrobe of things that I wasn't wearing. I personally don't like it.

It doesn’t look good on the model and it hasn’t been well styled. It looks ridiculously short in the sleeves and in the body. Or the fit maybe wrong if the model is tall.

Although might look ok on someone much shorter in height and with shorter arms.
