Cut off my hair help

So I've just had a baby...well not just he's 5 months old now haha
I did a stupid thing and got frustrated with my hair being boring and long couldn't wear it down cause he'd grab it and got bored of just a stupid mum bun had terrible split ends and needed a sort out, bad move to think about cutting it after a baby but I did it anyway, now hugely regretting it had just over 14 inches cut off and I hate it!!! Wish it was long again 😭 I have his christening booked in a months time and all I see is this boring flat greasy bob!
Pre pregnancy it's been super super greasy so quick having to wash it everyday, sometimes even twice or else it just hangs there like I've got a tub of hair gel in it!
I pin the two fringey side bits up with clips, a small plait or a twist but that's all I can do at the moment, what else can I do to make it look nicer or at least make me feel nicer about it 😬
I never should have cut it, I loved it before but felt I needed a change and was super excited to get it cut but should have done a gradual cut, it's going to take ages to grow back long again 😭😭😭

Did you cut it yourself or did you get a stylist to do it? Sorry, it’s not clear from your post.

Oh goodness no I got someone else to do it, wouldn't trust myself to do it haha 😆

How was it originally styled when it was cut and did you like it then?

Die the christening you could have clip in extensions or a wig that looks very similar to your own hair when it was long?

I bet it doesn't look bad at all, but know how it feels to have a haircut you're not happy with! Could you show us a picture with your face blocked out maybe?
