Hair waver -recommendations?

Has anyone bought one of those cordless curlers that suck the hair on? I was at one point inundated with ads but not seen one for ages and no clue if they're any good anyway ! I can't manage waves with my straightener. Thanks 🙏

It didn’t work for me.
It only took small sections of hair and if there was too much it would just cut out and need resetting. Irritating

I have very thick hair though, it may work better on thinner, less unruly hair!
