I've been scammed by vinted!

Hi bought a fancy dress for £50 and received and old pair of converse in the wrong size insread. Yesterday package was not delivered but today showing as delivered two days ago so too late for me to claim a refund or complain what!!! Thiz must be a weird scam. Seller seems genuine. What can I do?

Report it to Vinted as item not as described, you get longer than two days to do that?

Of course the seller can’t be genuine, what other feedback do they have?

If the seller seems genuine can you message them and show them what you have received? Maybe they sent the wrong item to you?

Be a genuine mistake, I sent someone a Christmas wreath instead of a dress by mistake, it was a mix up in labelling. All resolved.

Hmm I dropped a Vinted parcel off the other day and there were 2 parcels already in the same locker. Could be a mix-up?

Hi, I messaged the seller when I got the shoes two days to ask if something was mixed up . Shs said she didn't send them. What can I do?

Doesn't sound like a scam. Just a mix up with the parcel carrier. Contact vinted.

Was it delivered by inpost? They are known for mixing up parcel labels, in which case it’s not the seller’s fault but Vinted/inpost. There’s a big Facebook group about it

Its inposf musf be a mixed up label does this mean I have to write my money off?

Thats not a scam its a parcel mix up by the courier. You have several days to 'complete' the order by going into your profile and finding the order where you first bought the item.

You can also contact cucumber service and they will sort it by sending you a label to return the converse and refund you the dress or send you the dress.

You need to tell Vinted there is an issue. Also the courier. It’s not a scam though.

Vinted is the shop platform they don't scam anyone, it's the same as Ebay in that way. There may be scammers on there but its not Vinted fault if theres a postal mix up which this sounds like. Hopefully it will get sorted out

This happened to me but I was the seller. Took a couple of weeks while vinted investigated but we both got refunded as inpost said it was their mistake and the parcel had been lost. Speak to vinted asap

Make sure you upload photos of what you received and the packaging and label. It has happened to me and my money was refunded.
