If you've big feet - size 8 or 9 - what boots have you been wearing this winter?

I've needed new boots all winter. I've been surviving with an old pair of favourite brown boots but I don't have black boots and I need to buy some this week or I'll be stuck mak in Ng do until next winter.

I don't live anywhere near decent shops so have to rely on ordering online. With narrow calves and big feet (EU42) boots can look really stupid on me, depending on the style.

If you've got big feet too, what have you been wearing this year?

EU 42 here - I have been wearing various Uggs (size 9) sorry! I know they’re looked down on in many circles. Their waterproof ones are amazing for me. I’ve some ancient dog walking pull on boots I’ve had for nearly 10 years. And some biker-ish ones for city and town.

Oh, I’ve just been to their site to see if can link, but they don’t make them any more. Or anything similar, Sorry!

I'm size 42 and I've lived in a pair of leather ankle boots from Find (Amazon's fashion brand). They were about £50 and they're excellent quality and lasted brilliantly. I just checked and they don't have them available any more but they do have lots of styles so might be worth a look to see if they're something you like...

I'm usually an 8, sometimes a 7.5 depending on store/style.
My favourite boots are Nightjar by Moshulu. They're calf-length, as I find their knee-lengths too tight on the calf so might be ok for you?
Nice leather, lots of colours.

What's your budget OP?

I'm a 42 and similar to PP love an UGG (also size 9 in UGG).

Also wear fantastic boots from Churchs, Fairfax and Favour, Penelope Chilvers etc

A combination of Bareback Quebecs (for dog walking), Clark's semi-mum boots with a heel (with jeans for smarter wear) and M&S platform hiking boots from a couple of years ago. DH gave me a nice pair of Esska boots with a Ziggy Stardust lightning bolt for Christmas but they're a wee bit small and I hope will wear in.

I'm a 7, 7.5 or 8 depending on brand. I got some tan leather boots by Alpe from a local independent shoe shop who specialise in Spanish brands and I have lived in them. So comfortable.

Hi - budget is about £150 for the right pair but I'd prefer getting something in a sale or closer to £100. Ankle boots, pull on, zip or lace up.

Boots I currently own which fit well are Camel active, Gabor and Matalan!
