Black Wool Trousers

Recommendations please. I’m early 40s, 5 ft 3 and looking for trousers suitable for office work. I’m prepared to spend up to £150 for decent quality, so not shiny etc.

Literally pure wool or a blend? Hobbs, Jigsaw, Jaeger, have wool blend smart trousers, you may need to shorten them though.

Yes tbf a blend. My sewing is terrible so I’d prefer a short option.

For a slim trouser the Jigsaw Paris trousers are lovely quality. It will be a case of getting the right shape and maybe having them taken up, often shops offer this.

Hi OP, try Uniqlo. They offer an alteration service too for about 20 pounds I think, maybe not at all stores.
