Not having microblading top up

Has anyone not gone back for their microblading top up? Did it make a difference?

Due to my artist being unwell during her pregnancy, she's understandably had to cancel my appointments, and we've just not able to get the time in before her mat leave.

I completely understand BTW, just wondering if I HAVE to get them topped up?

I didn’t get mine topped up because I fell pregnant and they still lasted ages

I nearly didn't go back for mine as I was so shell shocked by the first round, I swore I would never let her touch my face again!

Then they settled in a bit so I went for the top up. She said there would be little gaps visible after the scabbing came off and I had already paid anyway. So basically it's probably worth your while to get it finished.

How do they look? Any lines that didn’t take? If you’re happy with them, a top up isn’t essential.

They look fine TBH, although there is a slight difference between the two.

The trouble is, I can't have them topped up, because she's on mat leave now, and no one I've contacted wants to top up someone else's work which I also understand.
