Day to day trainers help

What trainers are people buying right now for day to day life? I tend to wear trainers whatever the weather. Preferably to be worn with either jeans or skirts. Any colour except white.

I like New Balance for some reason, some women can make it look really stylish

I am determined to buy one soon if I can finally decide on colours (open to suggestions)

Currently I’m sharing a white nike with DD - it doesn’t get worse than this

I bought some trainers from a brand I’d never heard of yesterday DATE- they’re based in Tuscany and do a few different styles. I love them! I also like Veja and New Balance

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/01/2023 15:45

I just bought these for running, but decided I want to wear them as fashion trainers as they're too nice to ruin with mud just yet! NB are really comfortable. So far I've worn them with black tights and a short black skirt, and will also wear them with a longer black skirt and bare legs when the weather is better.

I have a very comfortable pair of Veja’s. I think they are heading into naff territory now thought as everyone is wearing them. They are very comfortable though.

I should have said not Vejas. They feel very clichéd 40-something mum (which is exactly what I am but hey-ho)

I really like the look of these. Does anyone know how comfy this brand is?

I have trainers by Hoff, Hogan, Maison Margiela, Ash, Diesel, Hush and Paul Green (and On Running for actual exercise).

I’m early 40s and while I don’t like to wear anything too out there, I don’t want to wear the same Vejas as literally all the other mums. I like to be a bit different, but I’m not wildly stylish or anything!!

Oh and some of the brands I listed are £££ but I got them from Vinted

Allezallezallez2023 · 29/01/2023 20:15

Oh and my Hogan trainers are probably the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned.

Have a look at ‘Woden’ - Scandinavian brand stocked by uk companies. I like the plain, less sportswear look, but they’re so comfortable 👍🏻
I have Woden Nora and Woden ydun (model names) in about 20 different colour ways 😩😂
