Odd feeling after Botox

I had Baby Botox in my forehead a week ago, it looks ok and I’ve still got some movement but the lower part feels heavy. It feels as through by eyebrows have dropped but when I look in the mirror they haven’t. Is this normal?

Droopy brows and the heavy feeling are the classic signs of too much botox. It is a bit weird though because if it's too much then you shouldn't have any movement left at all, but you do. I'm afraid there's nothing much you can do except wait for the effects to wear off. Sometimes the heavy feeling will go away after a few more days.

I haven’t had the forehead done but the first time I had 11s it did feel odd for a while; like there was a bit of pressure on the area. I haven’t noticed it again since.

I was told the forehead alone is not recommended without some in 11s and/or crows feet as it can drop the brows, not sure if baby Botox is different though. If you’re not seeing any drop in the mirror, I presume it’s just an initial feeling and it might pass soon.

I get this feeling as it is taking effect. Passes after a week or so.

Cani ask what baby botox is?

dzdzdxdz · 29/01/2023 07:57

I wish people wouldn't choose to do this, it makes you look odd. People think it's great but it isn't.

Thank you for the comments. I did have 11’s too, I wanted to be able to raise my eyebrows which I can.
I hope the heavy feeling wears off although I like not seeing a concertina!

I had this , my forehead felt so heavy but I still had movement which I also thought was odd. I personally didn’t like the heavy feeling, I wouldn’t have my forehead done again.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes

You just injected poison into your face ffs - why are you surprised it’s having a weird effect?!

NewNameFor2023 · 29/01/2023 08:01

@dzdzdxdz it depends on how much botox you have.

i had it for the first time last year, forehead and 11’s (you should have 11’s if getting forehead done). I made it clear that I didn’t want it to be obvious, or have a startled look with raised eyebrows.

i feel confident. You can’t tell, but I know.

Suggest only using someone who is medically trained. My person is an advanced nurse practitioner and still practices. This was important.

First time I had botox I had a heavy feeling. I have 11s and eyes done. It's not happened since.

superplumb · 29/01/2023 17:24

Yeah the feeling passes in a few weeks
