Can I go from v dark brown hair to blonde in one session???

I was always blonde but went dark about 10 years ago. Now wanting to go blonde again but don't want the whole process to take more than a day. Is this possible? I know the condition of my hair will be compromised but I'm too impatient to wait for the end result. Am I being daft?

I'm probably a couple of shades up from
black and I want to be ashy blonde. Or just a nice blonde with no brassiness.

Yes if you want it to be fried and straw like with breakage, I say this from past experience unfortunately. I doubt any reputable hairdresser would even do that so you'd have to do it yourself.

and as above, any reputable hair dresser would refuse to do. You simply cannot go from nearly black to blonde in one go.

especially as you want “no brassiness” - you’ll be lucky to get an orangey yellow colour. You will utterly destroy your hair and it most definitely will NOT be a lovely ashy blonde. Unfortunately the impact of going from blonde to black is realising to go back to blonde is something that just doesn’t happen overnight, you are literally looking at a few appointments and going steadily lighter over months.

I went from lockdown brown box dye to blonde in one sitting. The worst damage was around the fringe but honestly, having had bleached hair most of my life it wasn't bad.
