@HorribleHisTories15 you made me laugh about the 2-year old hunting you down! 😂 I felt that!

I'm feeling much better today, so DH and I took a day off to have a bit of a time together. Usually it's only DH who brings DD to the nursery in the morning, but I went with them today, obviously dressed in a different way than I usually do because I didn't have to put a sling on in the morning, and OH MY GOD the difference in how people treat you!
So I usually have to show up wearing jeans and a sweatshirt with Uniqlo's coat on (any clothes I'm not afraid to ruin with the sling basically), minimal makeup on the face, hair in a ponytail to battle the wind, you get the picture.
Today I was looking obviously much more put together, I had made an effort while choosing accessories that would go with my outfit, my makeup was on point and I also removed my mask for a moment to adjust it and then forgot to put it on again (I look much cuter without a mask 😷). And suddenly all the nursery teachers act incredibly nice (not like they usually do!) and all the toddlers in DD's group (who'd typically ignore me) need to come up to me and show what they were making with the blocks/ what animal was on their t-shirt etc., one of the girls taking her chance to touch my hair and clothes while I'm complimenting other kids. Some of them started shouting that I haven't given them a high five when I was leaving the room. God, I felt like a superstar lol 😂
I do feel a tad bit sad though that nobody's that interested in me when I'm wearing zero/ minimal makeup and my outfits are a bit meh.

Not posted for a week or so as I just got bored of what was at the front of my closet and needed a tidy.

I'm not buying any clothes at all throughout Q1 as I want to assess my body recomposition now I've started doing daily HIIT and lifting again. I figure 3 months is a good chunk of time to see whether I want to start buying again.

FatFace overalls and Converse today fir a little change. With scarf and Zara blazer for going out.

Live the new shorter hair @Cardigansalltheway! I went back to having a curtain fringe at the weekend and love it.

Working from home today, more jeans yawn. With cashmere jumper for warmth as it's super chilly again today. And slippers from Primark that are probably meant to be dupes for birkenstock clogs.

Cute outfit @Cardigansalltheway and I get what you mean about breaking out of jeans. Have bought this skirt in Tu to wear with a black polo too. On half term this week and off for a couple of days with DH so I’m just packing. Excited.

Utterly cute @toucaninjapan ! Hello Kitty is a legend. Thankfully those merchandise shops are too far away from me, as I would probably buy everything in the shop. That dessert look delicious too!! I love your trousers. I am on the look out for leather trousers.

I really like your dungarees @EnoBaby. Converses are such a stylish classic. I have a torn pair that I refuse to part with. I've had them since my early twenties. It's nice seeing the modern revamps with the thicker soles (I'm probably saying it all wrong).

You look dashing @Puddinandpie ! Absolutely love that dress! Is it velvet or suede? You look fleek and ready for anything. After being unwell, your comeback is spectacular. Happy that the pain has subsided. Endo is horrible, and definitely needs more research and support for women suffering monthly. Bless you.

@HorribleHisTories15 awww thank you, that's made my day😊 I absolutely love that dunga dress, I've got some denim dunga dresses that I no longer fit into, I could cry ( thank you 4 dc for giving mummy a fat bum lol) I used to live in them years ago, so comfy and yet oh so stylish! Tell me about it I have seen soooo many Dr's and just when you think you've made some progress with one, you get referred to someone who doesn't care/or have a clue, I just feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall! 😒

Forgot to add my dress is velvet and really quite warm and heavy

Back in jeans today. I've completely gone off this jumper - still love the colour but the neckline is weirdly high and doesn't suit my body shape. I'll keep for now but will keep on the lookout for similar but either with a roll neck or even better, a looser, more boxy style. Any links or suggestions gratefully received!
