Eye make up & mascara during chemo

Hello

My lovely mum is going through chemo at the moment and could do with some advice on suitable eyeshadow and mascara.

She's not losing her hair (has every other side affect though) but her skin is reacting to her current make up.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations please?

Thanks

Try Jane Iredale, and best of luck to your mum, I hope she makes a speedy recovery x

Look Good Feel Better are a lovely organisation who run classes for people going through chemo:

I did a makeup workshop with them and while I can’t remember any specific recommendations, I did find it helpful and supportive.

Good luck for your mum x

Another recommendation for the brilliant lookgoodfeelbetter . They also do online sessions and you get a wonderful free goodie bag! Their website is helpful, and also Boots have trained some of their staff via Macmillan to offer advice at their makeup counters.

rms beauty is a “clean” brand, which uses coconut oil as a base. They have a burriti bronzer and highlighters that make lovely eyeshadows, and a mascara which is two waxes and a starch. Very gentle on the skin, no fragrances, minimal ingredients.

Thank you so much for your suggestions and well wishes, I will investigate.
