Everyday leather ankle boots

Help! I cannot find what I'm looking for and my old pair have finally worn through.

I have dodgy feet 😅 and wear these boots throughout autumn, winter and spring.

I need:

Leather/water resistant ankle boots that look smart enough to wear with jeans for casual wear - so not hiking boots but doesn't have to be overly smart.
Flat/flattish.
Removable insole so I can add a Birkenstock insole (they are to replace Birkenstock boots but they don't currently have anything I like on their website).
Must be zipped - I don't have time to do laces regularly and a touch of arthritis in my ankle makes the ones with stretchy sides impossible for me.
Wide fit.
Not overly fussy about colour.
Size 6 (or 5.5 is wide enough - really I'm a 5.5).

Budget: happy to £100. Upto £150 if perfect.

Have a look at Vagabond. A pair that zip up at the front would probably do the trick.

Look at John Lewis website - they have loads.

I like Timberland boots a lot (I’ve got fairly wide feet). You night find some nice ones in their sale just now!

Geox fits me well too.

Fitflop are brilliant for foot issues (I’ve had those too).

I’ve got a great pair of boots from Superdry that look similar but they’re from quite a few years ago.
