I’m 47 and I suddenly look puffy and tired and not lovely

I mean - suddenly - in the last year. I don’t feel like me. I sleep enough (usually), I’m doing skin&me, I get lots of fresh air. Has anyone else turned it around (non surgically)? I don’t care at ALL about ageing - it’s not looking older, it’s not looking good. All suggestions welcome. Thank you.

No help, I feel for you, I’m the same. So puffy. It’s definitely a recent change too.

Using a gua sha is really good for puffiness.

Do you drink much alcohol?

Does drinking more water help at all?

Don’t drink alcohol! But I probably don’t drink enough water - that’s a good prompt - thank you

I get a bit puffy in the winter. I’m not 100% sure but I think it’s mould spores in the air and a mild reaction

yes. get a gua sha, looks up some how to routines on youtube/tiktok and commit to spending 3 mins on it every morning.

Same age. Getting jowly. I looked great after losing some weight (did it slowly so my face survived). But I didn’t watch it at Christmas & have packed on 10lbs. Most of which had formed into a puffy face / under-chin fat...

Has your diet changed? More stodge?

Only ask because mine has and I feel more puffy and knackered looking

The things people have said about water and stodge are great. I find that if I don’t eat enough fruit and veg and/or I eat lots of pastry or fast food then I go puffy. Try eating more salads and lean protein. Whole foods! Also eight glasses of water a day. It’s good that you don’t drink alcohol :)
