I'm almost 40 years old, are these earrings too young for me? I always wear pearls and I would like to wear something different.

They’re one of those ridiculously over faked items like the LV Neverfull. Young teenagers wear the fake ones as status items, fools pay full price for the real thing.

Oh fair enough, I guess like knock off Calvin Klein and Caterpillar stuff when I was at school. There used to be people selling 3 for a tenner on street corners in London.

Well of course you could get something nicer for the same ££££. they are branded and obviously showing a "desirable" name which you are buying a part of because you want to emulate a sense of a luxury in your persona - that's exactly how luxury brands work.

i wouldn't buy them myself nor would i admire them on anyone else but they're definitely NOT hideous. if you like them, you wear them.
