Small Head Sunglasses

I have a small head and very narrow face which makes buying glasses and sunglasses really hard. Any recommendations on where to shop for sunglasses that work for people with tiny heads?

In store or online is fine, I will be in London this weekend so can visit most shops. I'm not strongly against ordering online but as most places don't give measurements most of the time they arrive and with one look know they will be massive on me.

(I would be happy to wear teen/child frames if they looked cool and trendy and not obviously childlike)

Have the same problem but it's way worse with normal glasses as sunglasses are meant to be oversized to a degree. I alway just try loads on and usually find something in Accessories, then buy 2 pairs and look after them!

thanks, I definitely need to double up this time, mine are broken beyond wearing, I will check our Accessorize. I do like the oversized sunglasses look, but I find most sunglasses frames look a bit stupid on me as it's too much.

I actually find searching for my prescription glasses a little easier as there is easily viewable dimensions (lens width - nose bride width - temple length) on every frame so I can look straight away at that, whether in person or online, and save alot of time as I know approx what number I am looking for.

I wear teen ray bans for my glasses and sunglasses, they usually are smaller versions of their adult frames.

Raybans

Boots opticians have lots of children's, teens, small ski'er wrap around style, that are small.

Specsavers Kylie range might be worth a shot as I have a small face and the Kylie range of glasses for my head.

SummaLuvin · 24/01/2023 17:47

sorry I think I have been confusing. I wear contacts alot so am looking normal sunglasses that work for small heads, not prescription.

I have the same issue and I wear decathlon aged 10-14 sunglasses. they are very cheap so in the years they have them in a non fun colour I buy several pairs.

I was going to say the Kylie range at Specsavers- I seem to recall they’re designed for people with petite faces in mind and right enough my (tiny face) most recent glasses have come from that range.

Cubitts and Ace & Tate both have frames in different sizes including small/petite. Both have shops all over London as well as online stores.

I have a small head. Got my sunglasses from the sunglasses hut and the adjusted them a bit like they do in the opticians.

I also had a pairs of raybans in the smaller size that fitted nicely too.

You can get sunglasses from opticians which aren’t prescription though op, may be worth a look

SummaLuvin · 25/01/2023 19:48

@CatsEatDogs I never knew that! Thanks.

Also a fan of Junior ray bans. Shade station always have them reduced.
