Lightweight glasses

I'm heading to Specsavers this week to change my reading/vari glasses. Does anyone recommend any lightweight specs they've purchased that feel modern/fun?

I'm a sucker for cats eye and big Harry Potter glasses, but the ones I chose last time leave a heavy mark on my nose.

Tah.

Specsavers do a range called flexi that are really lightweight. I struggled to find glasses as they all have me a headache from the pressure if the arms on my head but I can wear these all day with no problems.

Thanks @Song6 - I've noticed that range but I don't really like the frameless look and previous glasses with those little nose pads have, in the past, left an equally unattractive pair of dents in my nose.

I'll give them a try on and see.

I can’t find mine online but they do have plastic ones without nose pads. I think mine were from the men’s bit but they’re quite unisex.

I've got Specsavers Megara frames. They don't have those nose pad things and are lightweight.

Good call re: unisex glasses @Song6 - and thanks @JaneJeffer - good to know.

I rather like the Kylie range and hoping they're not heavy. My Marc Jacobs ones are like wearing a face weight.

I know it's more expensive but recommend going to a local independent not specsavers. I had such a limited choice there, but went to an independent and they had soooo many other options that have lasted so much better. My current are eco eyewear which have magnetic clip ons to make them into sunglasses and I love them!

Good point @Purplepepsi - it has inspired me to look around a bit and I'm making enquiries.

I got the Cody glasses from Glasses Direct and really like them! Very lightweight.

I have very lightweight rimless frames from www.silhouette.com/gb/en/optical-eyewear

Purchased from an independent retailer www.posh eyes.co.uk

Cost about £200 less than my local high street optician.

I get mine from selectspecs. Cat eye, very light weight and £10

Thanks all! That's really helpful!
