I was married for 20 years and have just processed my split and ensuing divorce.

I’ve met a lovely man ❤️ V v slowly getting to know him.

He’s flying over to see me for valentine’s weekend (been friends a while)

A nice weekend has been booked. I want a classy but sexy dress 🙈🙈🙈 former husband didn’t want to have sex with me, I was mum to the kids and bankroller 😬. I really like this man as a potential friend and more.

So I’m size 10 with boobs and a 3 x c section tummy, what should I wear? Any ideas would be amazing. It’s so long since I’ve dated. 5 foot 7 if that’s relevant

🙈🙏🏼🙈🙏🏼

You sound like you’ve got a great figure (so jealous of your height) and a great budget.

Sexy is subjective though and I think the most important factor is finding something you feel amazing in. What sort of style are you drawn to? What feels like you? I think slip dresses are incredibly sexy on other people but they don’t work on me. For example Anna Taylor Joy had an incredible outfit in The Menu but it wouldn’t suit me/I’d never be able to find the right bra so I wouldn’t feel sexy.

I’ve posted similar advice before but I’d look on a site like Wolf and Badger to get an overview of lots of different dresses in your budget in a range of styles (and from brands you don’t normally come across!). You could also look at net-a-porter as there are a quite few options in the sale for your budget (you could get a pretty good bargain to be honest!). If nothing else it gives you lots of ideas of what leaps out to you. This is a fairly classic valentines dress, wiggle shape, red velvet. I love this for a bit of sparkle (the same brand has quite a few variations)? If you’re into retro style then have a look at Deadly is the Female or Nancy Mac for perhaps a girlier take than out and out pinup dress? I think this Leopard maxi treads the line between sexy/elegant with the cut. this is a gorgeous colour for valentines day. Or what about a Wrap dress? I love the Sheer detail on this dress which I always think is very sexy. More Red velvet but in a more relaxed shape? Ruched dress (I think this would look stunning with an oversized black jacket).

Hope you find something you love and have an amazing time!

I love so many of the dresses you've linked to! Absolutely love the red velvet Bardot style one!

Bras are an issue for me as I've yet to find a strapless bra that's comfortable yet supportive of DD boobs 😬

I have the same problem (although I’m a K cup…) - I do have a couple of the hourglass dresses from the pretty dress company, you can play with the straps a bit so they hit higher/lower so I’ve got away with wearing them with a bra before. This one has a bit of an extreme plunge (I’d wear a pretty lacy black cami underneath) but a different neckline so bra straps wouldn’t be an issue. It’s the same brand as the one I originally linked to (their whole range is pretty lovely actually!). Or bombshell?

Actually just realised the first velvet dress is Me&Thee, one in my second link is Bluzat.

Have a look at ro &zo, the dresses are absolutely gorgeous, and they have regular tall or petite, so properly sized for height. roandzo.com/collections/dresses?gclid=CjwKCAiAoL6eBhA3EiwAXDom5rBA_86JGKUza1phhhTsJ4kqW1heO2Ltn7gbqLN3PDQrgex6iOWGThoC3XAQAvD_BwE
