Help me find a blazer

This is such a basic ask that I seem to be struggling with. Can anybody help?

I want a black wool blazer. Need this for work and would like a good quality one that can be a wardrobe staple.

I have ordered a couple already - and have had to return as despite not being cheap the quality of the material doesn't seem good - for example & other stories wool blazer.

The other aspect is that I am petite (size 12) and the oversized blazer looks ridiculous on me. Can any one recommend a good quality black wool blazer?

I tried the Arket oversized blazer and it looked awful on me

Thanks @hellololabells2019 it was actually the Arket one that I returned. It looked terrible. This one looks good but aren't Cos and Arket all part of the same group?

I got to Mango or Zara for all my blazers.

Following although I am a couple of sizes bigger. I need a bit of structure on me to pull me together. Like you I get swamped by the cut of blazers around at the moment and find them unflattering.

I used to like the blazers they did in H&M which they did every season and would rotate the colours. They were a bit jersey but not really. They were under £30 and great for work. However i don't think they do the same ones anymore as I was looking yesterday. I'm too fat for my old ones!

Whistles jersey blazers seem to get mentioned a bit. I've found some on vinted bnwt which I am considering. Maybe M&S as well although I've tried some shockers recently.

@Montague22 I think so but the Cos one (I thought) was a lot better

I bought the most beautiful Joseph wool blazer 20 years ago. It looks brand new and never fails to get compliments. I’d definitely check our Joseph
