I've been trawling the sales looking for an all purpose every day bag and I keep coming back to Aspinal - looking for experiences please.

Thanks

Sheila

Absolutely love them! Just treated myself to the navy quilted Lottie bag….my friend bought me a beautiful purse for a milestone birthday about five years ago, use it every day and it’s still in great shape.

I have one. Haven’t used it much and it looks quite battered. Have been surprised at the poor quality. However, I have friends who have a few pieces which have all aged well so think I was unlucky.

I have a leather tote style bag from Aspinal and it’s worn really well

IloveJudgeJudy · 22/01/2023 16:11

I've got a few Blush. I think they're great. Don't like their purses, though. I've got the hard leather bags - a Mayfair which I always get compliments for when I use it, a Florence. Oh, yes I've also got a London tote which is softer leather and a midi London tote which I absolutely love.

Yes, beautiful bags of great quality. I've had mine for a few years now and they all still look perfectly new. But I have quite structured styles which might make a difference, and I don't use the same one day in and day out.

My card holder (accordian style) also still looks fantastic after a few years of constant use.

Love them.
Excellent quality, lovely designs

I have two Lottie bags (the quilted caviar leather ones) which are better quality than my mulberry Lily. I think the structured styles are probably sturdier than the softer totes?

I have a Hampton, it’s beautiful. Lovely leather. Thick. Good quality. Clever design too - the best I’ve seen of similar bags.

I have a black quilted large Lottie which is around 4yrs old and still in great condition. I have a makeup pouch which I stick in my bag every day filled with essentials and the leather is still doing great after around 10yrs

Yes, I've got one and it's great. I bought it in the sale some years ago and it is a large saddle bag style in quite a solid black leather with a short and also long crossbody strap. It was my workbag when we went back into the office along with a rucksack for my laptop. I've had a look on the website and it's much the same style as this

I think their bags are lovely but a bit out of my league unless they're in the sale.

I like the bags, I have several, mostly tote style. You can quite often pick them up a bit cheaper on Brand Alley or Secret Sales.
Also see Handbag Clinic which sells 2nd hand (pre-loved!) ones that have been renovated to a high standard.

I would be wary about the wallets though, I have found the credit card slots to be a bit on the small side.
