When recycling goes wrong

Out shopping and have seen fabric shopping bags in Superdrug made out of recycled plastic bottles, that looks cheap and plasticky and full of static

And the awful crimplene type fabric that so many items are made out of now, mainly in Sainsbury's Tu range but probably elsewhere too.

What about when you want to recycle these items?

I suppose it's better than making them out of virgin material...maybe. But really it'd be better if they didn't make them at all.
