Creamy Shimmery Eyeshadow

I've noticed a few people recently wearing lovely creamy shimmery eyeshadow.

I'm super blonde, blue eyes and usually wear pinky, goldy types of colours.

I was looking at Laura Mercier eye caviar sticks and the Charlotte Tilbury pots. More for nights out than the school run!

Any recommendations?

I like the Bobbi brown stick eyeshadows.

AYU eye shadow sticks, dusty pink is lovely.

ByTerry cream shadow sticks are lovely, I prefer them to the Laura mercier which I find drag a little more when applying.

Budget versions, elf are good and maybelline colour pots are also great although I find sticks easier to apply.

Lately I've been using my finger to apply some of my Clinique chubby highlighter as a shadow (subtle but visible sheen) either on its own over a colour to brighten it up.

Sticks are quicker. I use beauty pie ones but the packaging can sometimes break.

I also have a CT shimmer creme pot. At first I was applying too much and it didn't stay on. But it's so much better applying a tiny bit with a fluffy brush.

Glossier Lidstar is a nice, buildable, shimmering eyeshadow.

Oh I'd not heard of almost all of these brands, thanks so much!

Suratt lid lacquer. I was searching for the perfect none creasing, cream eyeshadow for a long time - this is it.

Stocked in Space NK, but might be worth checking the colours. I’m the same colouring as you, and have the ‘Hadaka’ colour.

The charlotte tilbury eyes to mesmerise one's are lovely (the matte ones have awful reviews though). I have one and it is very shimmery and beautifu.

Oh that's the exact type of colour!

@TokyoSushi it really is fab, worth every penny and will last ages. It’s not glittery either.

MistyRock · 21/01/2023 11:33

By Terry ombre blackstar eyeshadow sticks, especially Misty Rock! 😁

PAFMO · 21/01/2023 13:01

I've discovered a cheap as chips alternative to the wonderful Bobbi Brown cream sticks. Rimmel Wondercloud liquid eyeshadow. It's fab and really long lasting. I wear the taupey one everyday and it's as good at midnight as when I put it on at 7am.

Metabigot · 21/01/2023 13:40

Second the charlotte tilbury ones and ombre blackstar.

My fave makeup item!

The Revlon ones in glass jars are nice too. Some are ridiculously shimmery though so try the testers first.

Cranarc · 21/01/2023 17:31

Victoria Beckham lid lustre pots. They are very, very shimmery but somehow don't make me look like a 5 year old overdoing it with a glitter pen. (Or maybe they do but nobody has been rude enough to say so...)

PinkArt · 21/01/2023 17:35

The By Terry ones are incredibly long lasting. Eyeshadow always creases on me but that stuff stays put. A close second would be the Laura Mercier ones though.
