So is it better than normal gel nails?

I have brittle nails so never had anything done but my DD is really happy with BIAB. Interested in other's experiences!

I've accepted that I'll never have nice nails unless they have a layer of BIAB or acrylic on them.

BIAB is quicker than acrylic to apply, remove and infill, and it looks thinner, less bulky than acrylic and much more natural.

OatFox · 19/01/2023 19:48

I love BIAB. I'll never go back.

weebarra · 19/01/2023 19:51

Me too. I love it!

Sidge · 19/01/2023 19:52

I have BIAB and for the first time in my long life I have long, strong nails. I love it.

JorisBonson · 19/01/2023 19:53

Yep, it's amazing. Been having it for 3 months and my nails are as hard as, well, nails. Going to try gel alone as an experiment this weekend but wouldn't hesitate to go back to builder.

SecretVictoria · 19/01/2023 19:56

Didn’t do anything for my nails I’m afraid. Only thing that looks decent is acrylic.

Chocbuttonsandredwine · 19/01/2023 20:12

Million times better. Love mine

Jellifer · 19/01/2023 20:15

It’s a yes from me!

ladymalfoy45 · 19/01/2023 20:18

I've got a UV lamp so can I do this at home?

Yes you apply just like gels then pop your colour on on top

strawberry2017 · 19/01/2023 20:24

Where do you buy it from? X

ladymalfoy45 · 19/01/2023 21:03

@notapizzaeater oohh. Off to investiGoogle.

Is it better for your nails underneath? Gel always seems to trash my nails and I have to spend months oiling them to recover

IamEarthymama · 19/01/2023 21:29

Has anyone tried the dupes that are available?
I don't want to spend loads of money at the moment but I really need this as Covid and Long Covid have ruined my skin, hair and nails.

JaceLancs · 19/01/2023 22:04

Love it
I easily get 4 weeks and rarely get chips or peeling

SleekMamma · 19/01/2023 22:05

Any links to the product? Sounds interesting

Unfortunately not - my nails are a mess at the moment after taking it off. And it was taken off properly, I didn’t pick at it!

RandomMess · 20/01/2023 12:28

I guess it's one of things if I go ahead I'm committing to it long term.

Got mine from Mylee

jevoudrais · 22/01/2023 05:48

Same as @HDready I've just had it taken off and mine are a mess. My natural nails are pretty good so maybe that was my mistakes

EllaPaella · 22/01/2023 15:32

Just had it for the first time this weekend as all my friends have been raving about it. I have never had anything done to my nails before and I love how they look now. I'm booked back in another 3 weeks but have been told my nails will start growing quickly.
