Any recommendations? I have been using the Lacura Hot Cloth one, but fancy a change. My skin is, basically, normal, Would appreciate some tips.

I use CeraVe with a warm wash cloth.

TheOGCCL · 20/01/2023 08:49

I use Alpha H Balancing Cleanser

I like the superdrug hot cloth cleanser- is a creamy one.

Another advocate for Cerave with a warm wash cloth.

I double cleanse. First with any L'Oréal milk cleanser and then with a balm ( any will do ) you are literally washing it down the drain anyway.

What counts is a toner, serum and moisturiser. I use ren, bioeffect egf serum and Sunday Reilly ceo vit c cream.

I'm 51 and my skin is pretty good.

Any cheap cleanser you like that's suitable for your skin. You don't need to spend on cleanser at all.

I'm 57 and post menopause with dry skin. I love the N7 cleansing balm but it's almost always out of stock (best balm I've ever used) Also really rate the Superdrug hot cloth cleanser.

Superfacialist Vit C oil, around £7 when on offer. Bottle lasts aaaaages and I rinse off with a very warm wet cloth. Smells gorgeous.

Provided I don't put it on my eye lids my suddenly super reactive and drama prone peri menopausal skin likes it very much

I like L’Oréal age perfect cleansing milk and I use it as a hot cloth cleanser. Nice smell and texture. Not too pricey.

I’ve been double cleansing in the evening recently and it makes my skin feel really soft. First cleanse with an oil or balm to get make up and sunscreen off (I really like the Inkey List oat cleansing balm and the Pai Rosehip cleansing oil) and then second cleanse with a cleansing milk or gel (currently trying Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cleanser which is lovely but the Aveeno oat cleansing gel is probably even better and much cheaper).

I agree with this. Lovely smell, too.

I've recently started using Hada Labo and really enjoying it. The cleanser gets every scrap of make up off, which I was really surprised by.
