Do you use hair mousse?

I've never used it but wondering if I should.

I have long very straight hair which tends to fall very flat. Im looking for ways to make it more volumised.

Will mousse help me achieve that?

What do you use? And how?

I’ve been using some volumising mousse, Percy Reid I think it is that came in my M&S advent calendar. I’ve dead straight long hair and I find it gives a bit of boof to my mane, not huge volume or anything but definitely some movement.

I would say it would prob weigh it down unless you use it when when wet and blow dry it

WOW products might do what you're looking for

I use it, it gives my hair a bit more body and grip, I find it works best if I let my hair dry naturally then apply mousse and blow dry.

Yes but I have wavy hair. Usually a foam or mousse, and some volume spray at the roots
My hair is really soft at the roots so needs a bit of grit to give it some volume!

I don't but this made me feel so nostalgic!

I used to watch my mom get ready for work and she'd pump out a ball of mousse and work it into her hair before blowdrying it. Mom has short hair but it was always very voluminous and glam!

I too tried mousse for the first time thanks to my M&S advent calendar which had a Percy & Reid hair mousse in it and I AM A CONVERT!
I tried it prior to using my Babyliss Big Hair Styler brush and the volume was amazing even next day.
I also tried this volumising mousse on a day I wasn't using heat on my hair (just leave in conditioner and air dried) and my roots had more volume than usual. Not as much as when I blow dry it but more than had I left it without. I'm thinking of trying a small/travel size can of Bumble and Bumble hair mousse and see how it compares to this Percy and Reid one before I buy a big can of either.

I have tried every volumising and thickening product under the sun and this is the only one I’ve found that works. Pricey but you only need a small amount. I’ve got long hair, fine but lots of it and my roots get so flat but this has been amazing.
