Did m&s stop doing size 39 (6)

I ordered leather court heels for work from m&s recently; I used to order size 39 which they called 5.5; but that is gone and it’s only 5 or 6… I ordered the 6 but they are size 40 and are too big.
did anyone else notice or am I going mad?!

There are plenty of shoes on the website which are in 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5. Some which are 5, 6.
so I guess it depends on the shoes

They have changed the sizes of their women's socks along the same lines! I was about to buy some the other day but they are 3-5 or 6-8
Being 5.5 I was flummoxed and didn't buy any...
Can't help you with the shoes, I have never bought any there because haven't seen half sizes in the styles that catch my eye
