I’m late 40s, second marriage this summer. Thinking about something like this to wear -

This dress

Any ideas of something along similar
lines? I’m not a really smart
dressy type of person. I’m 5.10 and about a small 12 large 10. I don’t suit really pastel colours.

This isn’t exactly similar but it does also come in white and red.

I think the Karen Millen dress would be perfect for a wedding guest, but not sure it's bride-y.

A lot depends on the type of wedding you're having, the venue etc. I'm sure that whatever you wear you will look perfect though. Enjoy your day!

Lovely dress and of course everyone will know you are the bride since you've invited them to your wedding 😀
For the avoidance of any doubt I'd be taking the opportunity to wear something very fancy on my head, maybe a cape too. But it's lovely as it is.

the only issue i have with it is the breast plate/front design which gives me a very flat impression.
are you familiar with the designer wear several of her pieces?
it might be totally you and perfect.
i did spot some teal ones in her new collection that i think flowed better, more figure flattering.

g@greenspaces4peace - I too have seen the teal one - it’s gorgeous isn’t it. There’s also a cream one with flowers which is my favourite it only available in a size 6 ☹️

Have you thought about a trouser suit or a jumpsuit as an alternative to a dress?

I'm seriously considering that pink KM dress for the summer 😁

@CrimsonThunder 🤣🤣- I love that a new dress is a great excuse to get married hehe.
I wore a floaty trouser suit ensemble for my first wedding so I feel like I need to wear a dress this time around
