Warm down coat recommendations

I'd like to invest in a new really warm down coat

Are there any great brands out there that are like Canada goose, and very warm, but not quite so £££?

The only one I've come across is Holland Cooper but I'm not so keen on them for me

Patagonia, although they might be too sporty for you.

Uniqlo or Landsend

Does it have to be down? It’s really cruel 😞Maybe you’d consider an alternative - Save The Duck , Embassy and Noize do ethical alternatives, which are properly warm. There are lots of other brands doing similar.

Elvine are good too!

I have a Superdry longline Everest coat, it’s padded with recycled polyester. I love it.
For reference I am in NE Scotland and have just come back from a dog walk, in the snow, below 0. Nice and toasty. It’s slimmer cut too .
Sorry I am technologically challenged and cannot get a link to work.

I have the Superdry Fuji long coar , I'd bought the Fuji jacket for DD the year before . Recycled bottles in as padding . No obvious logo ( small one on sleeve)
I wore mine to London in the cold weather before Christmas with a cotton top underneath , really cosy .

Really toasty and lovely on. Oversized, not just relaxed.

I've got this North Face one (currently 30% off) which is lovely and warm.

Didriksons are super warm, and don't include down.

I’ve got a Didriksons parka. Really good buy. So warm and keeps my toasty even standing on football side lines in -2. Highly recommend. They run big though. I’m a 10 but I’d normally go a 12 in a coat for room for a jumper etc but I got an 8 and it’s a perfect fit.

Didriksons here too. Before Xmas I spent hours researching coats as wanted something warm and waterproof for standing on the touch line every weekend but equally not too bulky to wear to the shops etc. very pleased with my choice.

I spend time in Northern Canada, Alaska and Wyoming.
Brutal winters.
The best coats are full length and hooded Moose Knuckles.
(Warmer than Canada Goose).
Any really good quality ski jacket, Rossignol is especially good.
These often appear in TKMaxx in the U.K. and are as cheap as £160 reduced from £800+.
Also there is nothing beats fur for insulation.
I buy all my coats in end of season sales.
